new coat!

so i ordered travis a new coat from www.jbpet.com. it came in today and it's very stylish and he actually likes it! below are some pictures of him in the coat! i'll post more about other stuff that is going on later!

so i'll start with thursday...i worked 7am-6:30pm and then andy and i went to play mini golf and arcade games...then we got appetizers at chilis...needless to say we had a great time and i was very tired on friday at work b/c i was out so late on thursday night!

friday at work was good...i was in surgery and even got a compliment from the boss...he said that i did a great job...that really meant a lot to me so it was good. then i proceeded to go home, watch tv, eat dinner, watch more tv and go to bed...i was exhausted!

saturday i didn't have to work!!! i slept in and then i made some brownies to bring to andy's house...he had me over to his house for dinner...he made salad, spicy potatoes and fried chicken...it was all really good...we had a great wine with dinner too...then we watched the movie white noise and the south park movie...a weird combo but we needed something funny after white noise since it was kinda freaky! so i didn't end up getting home until like 4:45am...

today i didn't really get to sleep in that much...i had to go to sam's club with my mom...i bought some glucosamine tablets with msm there...so hopefully they will help my knee...i have to take 3 of these huge tablets a day! eeekkk...anyway i hope that they work for me...they have for people that i know. then my mom made a mini thanksgiving meal...i have no idea why, but it was great. then as you can see from the pictures below, i took travis on a walk...isn't he cute in his walking shirt?!? he is a sexy mo-foe! haha...anyway...the lump on his leg that i thought was the damn cancer coming back is getting smaller! jeanne looked at him a few days ago and put him on antibiotics and now it's shrinking...she thought it was either an infection, an inflamed arthritic joint or cancer...so i guess it's an infection...so i'm happy about that for now...

oh yeah and the opossum pictures are from work from last saturday...rachel's brother ran over the mother opossum and he was only able to catch 3 of the babies that went running...so rachel is going to raise the 3 little guys until the spring when i guess she is going to release them....they are super cute though, so i thought that i'd share...

i fucking hate cancer

so i was giving travis a bath today and as i was scrubbing his legs i noticed that his right front leg (the one that only has 3 toes now) was thicker than his other front leg. upon closer inspection a bit later, i noticed that he has a sort of circular growth on this leg that seems to branch up the leg...i knew that the cancer would come back but i didn't think it would so quickly.

he still acts ok- still eats, drinks, wants to go on walks, goes to the bathroom normally and runs around like a puppy. i don't know if he is in pain, but he is on dermaxx for arthritis, so it may be masking it. he did drag me down the street on a really long walk today...the longest we have walked since his second toe amputation back in august. so i am really upset, and i don't know what to do. i think i'm going to have jeanne look at him on tuesday, but there is probably nothing that she can do, short of amputating his little leg...and i will not go for that. i fucking hate cancer.

so yesterday i worked...don't even ask about what happened there...it has hit an all time low...anyway...

andy and i went to see the 40 year-old virgin which was really funny and then we got some sushi at fugi grill...i had miso soup and crazy tuna sushi, both of which were great. i wanna go back there sometime soon! then andy and i met jayd, rachel and m downtown at quote...it was fun...there was a guy dancing there that looked like the dude from the 40 year-old virgin!...haha...we stayed there for a while and left around 3am. then andy dropped me off at my car at the movie theatre and we *said goodnight* and i finally got to bed at 4am...so saturday started out crappy and ended very nicely :)

today my mom, aunt and i went to some farmer's markets to get some apples and concord grapes so that was good...and that's about it...i really don't want to go to work tomorrow :(...it sucks...
